Hi everyone! We are fast approaching the 3 week birthday for the SD3 and things are going well.
With them nearing the equivalent of 30 weeks gestation, all three are now on just nasal cannula for breathing help. The bigger news is that all of them are no longer hooked up to any IV and are drinking milk only for nutrition! The doctors added some fortifier for extra calories and some vitamins now and then, but no more needles! They would only get one temporally if they needed it for anything. They are eating a lot more these days too. Drew is up to 28ml every 4 hours, Julia is up to 24ml every 4 hours and Madison is up to 21ml every 4 hours. They now weigh:
Drew - 2lbs 4oz
Julia - 2lbs 2oz
Madison - 1lbs 13oz
Madison is a little behind in weight as she was on CPAP the longest, but hopefully she will catch up fast!
With only their monitor leads on them, holding them is so much better. We get to feel their little feet and they really enjoy it!
They are so cute and every nurse that works with them get a real kick out them too. They are quite funny with their personalities and quirks. Our babies are good at a few things with making boogers and big poops being near the top of the list, hahah! I never realized how much could come from such small babies, but we have witnessed their "talent" first hand. I can't imagine what it will be like when they are like 10 lbs!
I will post some new pictures either tonight or tomorrow, so stay tuned. We love your comments too, so keep those coming!

The pictures are great and Shara & Mike you are just so natural and looked so relaxed. I'm sure it's not always like that but both of you look so happy and proud! Can't wait to see more pictures! Please give Drew, Julia and Madison a big kiss for me and can't wait to see them in person.
Love cousin,
Brenda
