Happy St. Patty's Day everyone!

The SD3 are now 11 days old! They are all doing well and progressing every day. Drew is now up to 2lbs 1oz and starting to increase his feeds, which means he will start gaining weight a little faster. Julia is 2lbs and still has to wait a few more days before she can start getting the good stuff (milk). Madison is our smallest at 1lbs 13oz, but she has starting to eat yesterday so it won't be long for her to get over 2 lbs herself.

They are so cute and getting cuter every day. Drew uses a nasal cannula (the little nose thing you see people use in the hospital) just to help remind him to breathe. He is doing great, but just forgets sometimes as most kids his age do! The girls are still using CPAP, but are comfortable and we are in no rush to change it just for the sake of changing. The less they work to breathe, the more they can grow!

They are such little personalities too. Each have already shown what they are like. Drew is so funny with his wiggling, funny sleeping positions and expressions. Every nurse has fallen in love with that little guy! Julia is so peaceful, except when she needs a diaper change or other care, then she gets really excitable and angry! Madison is the little fidgety one. Even when Mommy holds her, she like to keep moving around and making a fuss.

Every day is so special and we can't wait to go and see them each time. When we are not there, we are calling in to check on them. The doctors and nurses at the hospital are so wonderful and helpful. We are very lucky to have our babies in such good hands.

Thank you to every one's best wishes, prayers, and generosity. We can't thank you enough for the continued support. I apologize for not posting sooner and I promise to try and get more updates out faster.

The following is a link to an album of different pictures of the little ones. You will need to create your own Snap Fish account to view (it is free and really easy), but it is worth it, as I will keep updating this album, so save this link and you can keep checking back for updates!

Shara,

You and Mike are so amazingly strong. The pictures are amazing. I am so happy that you are able to hold them! To be on a nasal cannula and CPAP is really awesome, though it may not seem that way right now. They are adorable babies and you both should be so proud of yourselves. I cannot wait for the day until they are strong enough to come home. Like I said before, babies are amazing. They continue to fight harder than anyone and do some amazing things. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers every day. I know you must be spending all your free time in the NICU and bonding with those gorgeous babies, but if you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask. I know how it is going through this, but you have it times three with your beautiful SD3. And each situation is unique in its own. I am so glad you are both in good spirits and that the kids are making progress every day. Thinking of you, Mike, the kids and both your families.

Shara and Mike,

Congratulations on your three little bundles of joy! They are absolutley beautiful and amazing. They are getting stronger and stronger each day and it all has to do with the love and care that you are giving them. You two are extraordinary parents and you should be very proud of yourselves.

I can't wait to meet the St. Denis Three! Please take care of yourselves!
