November 18th, 2009

Hello everybody!

I am a little better this time and didn't wait months for the next post, haha!

The kids are doing great! They are so funny and getting bigger all the time. Drew has not been weighed since the last post, but the girls got weighed today. Julia is now 14lbs 3oz and Madison is 18lbs 4oz! She is huge! HAHA!

They are so fun. Drew laughs and giggles all the time, and really has started playing games with us. He is starting to sit a little longer each day before falling, so it should be any week now! He loves his belly and rolls over to sleep every night. So cute! Julia is such a cutie. Everyone that comes over just instantly falls in love with her. We call her baby baby as she is like the others but a more baby version, lol. Madison laughs all the time for no reason and by herself sometimes. She is such a good humored baby. Her hair is crazy long and matches her personality.

The kids are now up to Level II foods twice a day and they love eating. I posted pictures of their new feeding table they use that makes feeding so much easier. A little messy, but it is great!

We have a baby proofing expert coming over next week as they are going to be mobile sooner than later, so we better get cracking!

That is it for now, just wanted to ensure everyone that is still following the SD3 got a quick update. Here are some new pictures showing off their table and their new winter gear! Enjoy!

November 3rd, 2009

Hello everyone! Well it has been waaay too long since my our last post, again. Sorry to all those who like to keep up on the SD3's progress. The triplets are doing great! They are getting so big so fast, we can't keep up! Here are their weights these days:

Drew - 14lbs 14oz

Julia - 12lbs 10oz

Madison - 16lbs 10oz

As you can see, Madison is leading the pack. In fact, she is now in the 30th percentile for her biological age, not her corrected age! She is so much bigger that her big sister, haha!

They are so adorable and such happy babies. Drew is a real little boy. He has begun rolling from his back to his belly and even without crawling, he seems to find a way to move all over the place. We are going to have to keep a close eye on that little guy. He smiles all the time and has the greatest laugh ever. Julia's personality has really come to life. She has a smile that lights up the room and makes the cutest little noises. She melts hearts everywhere she goes. She is so small and loves being held whenever she can. Madison is the big flirt. She smiles all the time and finds almost everything funny. She finds the sound of others coughing to be hysterical, haha. She is the queen of the jumperoo and rocks that thing like no one's business.

The kids are now eating cereal and fruits/vegetables twice a day and loving it. They like apple sauce, pears, sweet potatoes, peaches, bananas, squash and will even eat sweet peas. They do NOT like green beans at all, but you can't win 'em all!

Here are some new pictures, including some Halloween pics. As you can see, they were Care Bears for their first Halloween and were so freakin' cute! We hope you enjoy!

September 14th, 2009

Hello everyone!

It has been a looooong time since I last posted anything. I swore I was not going to do that, but guilty as charged. We want to give everyone a quick update on how the SD3 are doing.

It has been a couple weeks since the kids were last weighed, but here is their most recent numbers:

Drew - 12lbs 7.5oz

Julia - 10lbs 2oz

Madison - 12lbs 14oz

As you can see they are getting bigger all the time! Drew is the tallest, and Julia is by far the shortest, by 2 1/2 inches hahah! They had a follow up visit to the doctors to see how they are developing and so far so good! We are truly blessed and keep taking things one day at a time.

They are so talkative now (no real words yet!), always making noises, laughing, squealing and cooing so much! They sound like they are really trying to tell you something. They find everything funny too, which is a great way to live your life, especially in the morning. Seeing those three with their bright eyes make an early wake up call not so bad.

We are working with them to do things like rolling over. Julia is a champ and rolled from her stomach to her back 5 times in a row today! Drew did it once with a little help and Madison cried her eyes out when I rolled her over, hahah! Definitely the baby of the family, lol.

The SD3 have started on rice cereal and even a little apple sauce once a day. It is a messy affair, but fun to see! It is awesome to have one of them pass right out in the middle of a mouthful of food. When it is nap time, it is nap time! They are growing up so fast, we don't want it to go by so quickly. The are also sleeping through the night most nights after their 11pm feed. It is so great to get uninterrupted sleep, we forgot how that felt!

The babies are now 6 months old and cute as ever. Here are some new pictures to get you by....

August 13th, 2009

Hello everyone! Wow, it has been a long time since our last post. Bad Daddy! Hahaha! Things have been going great, hectic, but great. The kids are doing well and are sort of in between appointments right now, so it has been almost a month since they got weighed. They are definitely getting bigger, with Madison seeming to be the biggest now. She certainly eats the most! She has gotten a nice big belly and loves showing it off! Drew is still a big boy and cute as a bug. Julia is the little peanut but is loaded with personality, good personality as long as you don't try to put her in her crib (as I am doing right now, the neighbors are going to wonder what that sound is, haha).

All three have started to smile, with Drew doing it the most. He laughs too, at nothing sometimes, but he laughs! He is such a good boy and has been sleeping in his crib every night. The SD3 have started skipping their 3am feed too, but we cross out fingers every night and definitely don't expect it to happen every night, but we will take it when it does!

Life with triplets is very busy and very rewarding. We started going to malls and they are like rock stars! It is fun and the kids love to go for the walk.

Here are some pictures of the little ones. I hope you enjoy. Time to go find out what Julia is up to!

July 21st, 2009

Hello everyone! Look at me, blogging again only a week later. All the babies must be sleeping right now, hahaha!

Anyways, the SD3 just had their 4 month vaccinations, oh what fun! They had 2 on Friday and 2 today to make it easier on them. They did great! They also got weighed:

Drew - 10lbs 7oz

Julia - 8lbs 4oz

Madison - 9lbs 13oz

They are getting bigger everyday it seems. Drew has actually started smiling and laughing now! It is soooooo cute! They are so precious and we are so lucky to have them in our lives. Not much else has been going on. Shara's parents take them to a different park every Sunday. They love it and we get to nap! They are still eating every 4 hours, so we are just waiting for the day to come when they sleep through the night. It sounds like heaven, so we shall see, hahah!

Here are some new pictures. We hope you enjoy!

July 13th, 2009

Hi everyone! It has been a looooong time since I last updated the blog. I apologize, but things are quite crazy around here. Not sure why, hahaha!
The SD3 are doing great and getting bigger everyday. As of last week they weighed:
Drew - 10lbs 8oz
Julia - 7lbs 12oz
Madison - 9lbs 1oz
Julia is the smallest and has some catching up to do, but she is getting there. The other two are eating machines and their size proves it. They are really starting to get more alert, as they stare at you, follow you with their eyes and Drew has even started smiling when he is happy! They are still on their every 4 hour feeding schedule, but we are hoping that they will start sleeping through the night by the fall. That we be soooo awesome, haha!
They are starting to want to be awake more and more, which means we have to find ways of entertaining them. You would never guess how hard it is to entertain 3 infants. There is only so much time they can take swinging, staring in the jungle, or watching Baby Einstein!
I will try and do a better job at keeping everyone updated here. Also check my facebook page as I post pictures there as well. Here are some new pictures of our trio. They are so unbelievably adorable!

June 21st, 2009

Hello everyone! It has been a little while since our last post, but life is quite hectic with triplets, go figure! Hahah! As I type this, Madison is drifting between being asleep and screaming her head off. Just a typical day, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

We had a pediatrician visit this past week and everyone is doing great. We actually don't have another pediatric visit for a whole month! As of last Thursday, June 18, (putting their corrected age at 13 days), the kids weights are:

Drew - 8lbs 11oz
Julia - 7lbs even
Madison - 7lbs 10oz

They are getting bigger every week, and it is great to watch them grow. They are starting to want to do other things like sleep, and so things like lying on the play mat, going for walks and even watching Baby Einstein are things they are starting to enjoy. They still prefer to sleep more than anything, but keeping them entertained when they stay awake is definitely a challenge.

Yesterday, the SD3 had another eye doctor visit and we got the news we wanted to hear. Their eyes have fully matured and now we don't have to go back for another 9 months! We are so happy that this milestone has been hit and we can focus on other things.
The babies are very good babies for the most part and just having to feed them every 4 hours is the most exhausting part. They have their bad days, but for the most part they eat, sleep, and are happy. They are definitely cute! They are so adorable, we just want to squeeze them all the time! Here are some new pictures. We hope you enjoy!

June 8th, 2009

Hello everybody!!

It has been 10 whole days since we last blogged, sorry for the delay! This past week has seen the SD3's 3 month birthday and their actual DUE DATE! As of June 5th, they were officially newborns! It is crazy to think they were not supposed to be here all this time. Just doesn't seem possible.

They are getting big and growing well. I weighed Drew today using a scale and weighing myself first. He has not been weighed for a while, so I wanted to see. With his clothes and diaper on he weighs 8.5 pounds!! That's right, over 8 pounds! He looks and feels so much bigger than his sisters. Julia is still the smallest, now weighing over 6lbs. Madison is getting close to 7lbs as she was 6lbs 13oz on Friday. They are doing well and seem to enjoying home life.

They are definitely getting their own personalities. Drew is such a sweetheart. He does everything he is supposed to do, and is such a good little boy. Julia is a wild child. When she decides to be heard, the neighborhood knows about it. She is sweet and quiet most of the time except when she is hungry or wants attentions. Madison is definitely the baby. She is the fussiest of the three, and has figured out just how to get the most attention!!

They really are great babies and we are so lucky to have them.

Here are some new pictures. Hope you enjoy!!

May 28th, 2009

Hello everybody! Well, we are now at 100% SD3 quota in the St. Denis household. That's right, all 3 babies are now home! As of May 25th, they were reunited with Madison coming home for the second time.

They are getting big and growing everyday it seems. Drew is now 6lbs 11oz (which is 2lbs in almost 3 weeks since he has been home!), Julia is 5lbs 10oz, and Madison is 6lbs 5oz! Drew is eating almost 4oz at a time which is why he is so big so fast! Madison eats well too, but because of her reflux, we try and limit her to 3oz. Julia is our trouble eater and has a tough time getting to 2oz really because she is not great and sucking, but she is getting there!

Having the three of them home is really awesome and just seeing the three of them in their Boppy seats on our counter makes us crack up. It is a lot of hard work doing all the feeds, bottles, diapers, etc, but we would not have it any other way. We are not getting a lot of sleep, but we knew that would happen. It is just so great to have them here.
Here are some of the newest pictures. Keep checking back on how the SD3 are progressing!

May 23rd, 2009

Hello everybody!
It has been a little while since our last blog, sorry, it has been a crazy time. I wonder why, hahaha!
What a roller coaster ride the past week or so has been. At the last blog, we had both Drew and Madison home with the hopes of having Julia home shortly after. Never count your chickens before they hatch they say, and it is so true. Madison actually had to go back to the hospital last Saturday due to retracting a little and not looking well. She ended up with slight anemia and it seems she has reflux as well. The doctors have kept her for the last week, and we are hoping to have her home in the next few days. She is doing good, but they just want to be sure. She is now 5lbs 12.9oz! Craziness! And then...
We still have 2 babies home! Julia came home Thursday! She took to eating from the bottle and never looked back. She was 5lbs when she came home and is doing great! We are so excited to have her home and really enjoy having 2 babies to look after, but 3 will be even better.
Drew is doing great and packing on the pounds. We now weighs in at 6lbs 4oz! He is getting sooo big, haha! He is so adorable and such a great baby! He is eating almost 4oz of food per feed, absolutely crazy!
Hopefully the next time we blog it will be about the life of 3 babies at home. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!!!
As always, here are some pictures of the SD3 for your viewing pleasure!

May 12th, 2009

Hello everyone! And then, there were two babies at home!!! That's right, we now have 66.7% of the SD3 home. Madison decided today was the day and we packed her bags and shipped her home. She has had her first meal at home, and is now sitting in her Boppy seat next to her brother in his seat (before you ask, there is a picture included below).

Madison was 4lbs 14.4oz as of last night and we fully expect her to be over 5lbs by the time she sees the doctor this week. Speaking of doctors, Drew had his first pediatrician visit on Monday. He had a few shots, with more coming Thursday, but he did really great. He got weighed as well (they do it with diaper on) and he was 5lbs 4oz!!!!
Julia is also doing good. She is now over 4lbs 7oz and has really become more alert than ever. She is still not taking all her feeds by bottle yet, but she is starting to get it. Once she does, we hope to get her home shortly after.
Tonight will be the first night with two babies, so we shall see how that goes! We are super excited and it is so great having more of our family home.
